Terms of Service

1. Service Description
MinkOps provides WhatsApp-based operations management through two services: HomeOps (household operations) and BizOps (business operations). The services allow you to create tasks, assign them to household members or employees, receive reminders, and manage daily operations entirely via WhatsApp messaging.
2. Account Registration
By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate. The account administrator is responsible for adding members and staff to the account and for ensuring that each person added has consented to receiving WhatsApp messages from MinkOps.
3. WhatsApp Messaging Consent
By signing up, you explicitly consent to receive the following types of WhatsApp messages from MinkOps:
- Task assignment and status notifications
- Task reminders and follow-ups
- Daily summary digests
- Usage alerts and account notifications
- Voice note instructions (for staff/employees with voice notes enabled)
- System messages (welcome, opt-out confirmations, account updates)
Message frequency: Varies based on usage. Typical accounts receive 5-30 messages per day depending on task volume.
Opt-out: You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from MinkOps. Reply START to resume. See Section 8 for details.
4. Billing and Payments
All pricing is in US Dollars (USD). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Plan pricing, included people, and usage limits are displayed during signup. Additional people beyond your plan's included amount are billed at the rate shown. Usage caps (tasks, messages, voice notes) reset monthly.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use MinkOps services to:
- Send spam, promotional, or marketing messages
- Harass, threaten, or abuse any person
- Transmit illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Use the service for any purpose other than operations management
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Voice Notes and AI Processing
MinkOps uses AI to process your messages:
- Voice notes you send are transcribed using OpenAI's speech-to-text service
- Text messages are processed by AI to understand your intent and execute actions
- Voice note reminders sent to staff are generated using OpenAI's text-to-speech in the configured language
Message content is processed in real-time and is not used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for data handling details.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. MinkOps depends on third-party services (WhatsApp, Twilio, OpenAI) and is subject to their availability. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party outages, network issues, or scheduled maintenance.
8. Opting Out
Any person receiving messages from MinkOps can opt out at any time:
- Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OPT OUT to any MinkOps message
- You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent
- Reply START to resume receiving messages
- Account administrators can also contact support to manage messaging preferences
9. Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination:
- All messaging will stop immediately
- Your data will be retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
- Any remaining subscription period will not be refunded unless required by law
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or remain inactive for 90 days.
10. Limitation of Liability
MinkOps is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MinkOps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed tasks, delayed reminders, or incorrect AI interpretations. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp message to account administrators. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
